Dr. Fondell is a board-certified family medicine and addiction medicine physician currently serving as the medical director for La Clinica’s Birch Grove Health Center, a substance use and mental health-focused Federally Qualified Health Center in Southern Oregon. He also focuses on providing Gender Affirming Care and removing barriers to care for these and other marginalized patients through extended visit times and alternative access models.
Dr. Fondell is a member of the community faculty for Oregon Health And Science University’s Medical School and PA School, and teaches with La Clinica’s Advanced Practice Provider Residency Program. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Medicine, and completed his family medicine residency in North Minneapolis with the UMN’s North Memorial Family Medicine Residency.
