

Peter Kirk is the CEO of SERMO. Since launching the company in 2000, Peter has grown the organization into an enterprise with close to 300 employees in 10 global offices and a global network of close to two million healthcare professionals.
Under Peter’s leadership, SERMO membership has increased 100 percent year over year, and the social community now has over 343,000 physicians from over 90 different specialties and sub-specialties—approximately 40% of all U.S. physicians.
Peter holds a Masters in Finance from London Business School.




Prior to joining SERMO in 2001, Stephane spent five years in technology (Gemalto) and internet (co-founder of a B2C e-commerce comparison engine) companies. Over 13 years Stephane played a significant role in growing the WorldOne Intelligence business from one million to over $50 million. Currently acting as Executive Vice President, Stephane has global responsibility for SERMO's $55 million Intelligence business. In his 13 years at the company, Stephane has served in various regional and global leadership positions.
Stephane holds a BA in International Business Administration from Ecole Superieure de Commerce (ESC) Marseille.


Kim leads the SERMO Engagement team, which provides innovative promotional solutions to pharmaceutical and medical device companies and healthcare communications agencies. He brings 15 years of experience in the healthcare and business intelligence industries, and has been at the forefront of a number of key industry transformations during that time.
Previous to SERMO, Kim held senior roles with Survey Sampling (SSI), a global sampling and data collection pioneer. A dual citizen of Sweden and the UK, Kim grew up in California and earned a degree in Business Administration and Media Studies from the inter-disciplinary University Professors Program at Boston University.


Prior to joining the company, Osnat founded a strategic marketing consultancy where she re-launched biotech and healthcare brands and companies and helped change the organizations’ business trajectories. Osnat also brings a decade of pharmaceutical brand management and award winning marketing experience having worked at both Amgen, and Bristol Myers Squibb. Prior to that she also held both PR and market research consulting positions in the healthcare and biotech field.
Osnat graduated with a degree in Pharmacy from the University of Montreal.


Oren is currently responsible for the diverse portfolio of operational activities in the company’s Intelligence and Engagement divisions, including project management, procurement, contact centres, quality management, data delivery and language services. He also oversees the running of SERMO’s Knowledge Centres, located across three continents.
Oren holds a doctorate in supramolecular chemistry from the University of Cape Town for research relating to crystallography and self-assembly of new nanomaterials. He is published in several international chemical journals.


Emma D'Arcy is a Medical Biochemist who is completing phd research about the impact of social media on medicine. Emma helps HCPs and the pharmaceutical industry to up-skill and adapt to the era of 'digital medicine' where everyone is a consumer and a contributor. Emma has an extensive network of relationships with HCPs and has worked with KOLs in all therapeutic areas. Emma has received several awards for her leadership in pharmaceutical medical communications and was shortlisted as a global influencer in the industry for her work on the socialisation of health.
Emma has written educational programmes about drugs for every therapeutic area -- specialising in treatments for sexual health and infectious diseases. This includes experience as diverse as lobbying for access to treatment in Africa to describing the links in social health between Kim Kardashian and Vincent Van Goch.
At SERMO, Emma is responsible for ensuring the physician community is robust and committed to sharing clinical insights and experiences that improve outcomes in medicine.


Christian Rubio joined SERMO in 2013 as the Community Director, and manages Membership Engagement and Retention. He oversees original content programming, user-generated content management, gamification, and Member Care. Prior to joining SERMO, Christian was VP of Communities at JNJMobile, where he managed operations for a global network of over 25 million members.
Christian’s international business experience spans 15 years. He received multiple awards for innovative financings of large-scale infrastructure and development projects in Latin America. He holds an MBA from the F.W. Olin School of Management at Babson College, a Master of Arts in Political Management from George Washington University, and a Bachelor's degree from Williams College.


Jamie Fernandes is the VP, Products at SERMO. Since joining the company in November of 2013 to establish the Product function, he has overseen Product Management and User Experience. Prior to joining SERMO, Jamie was a Sr. Product Manager at Constant Contact where he worked on the flagship Email Marketing product along with Online Survey, Library and Archive.
He has over 15 years of Product Development experience with companies like IBM, Peoplefluent (formerly Authoria) and Softscape with two patents to his credit. Jamie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies and History from Brandeis University.


John joined SERMO in 2013 and is responsible for the company’s engineering activities, including technology selection, architecture delivery and production. Prior to joining SERMO John was responsible for all web, mobile and ecommerce systems at Carbonite(CARB), a cloud-based backup for consumers and small business. Over the past twenty-five years of his career John has held several senior management and engineering positions in growing companies such as PhaseForward, Metratech, WebHire and Easel helping bring four to IPO.


Scott Rosenblatt is SERMO’s VP, Information Technology. Joining in January 2013, Scott is responsible for both Technical Operations and I.T. throughout the organization. He came to SERMO from Affinnova (acquired by Nielsen) where he and his team implemented and supported several hundred redundant servers, the related infrastructure and supported a global workforce.
The consummate team player, Scott’s 20+ year career in technology includes guiding technology decisions for such companies as Starent Networks (acquired by Cisco), Onvio, Mectrol (acquired by Gates), and Genuity (formerly BBN and GTEi). He holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Computer Science from University of Hartford.




Giles joined SERMO in April 2014 as General Counsel responsible for legal and compliance.
Previously he worked for Bracewell & Giuliani LLP in Houston Texas as a corporate and M&A specialist working in the energy sector. For over a decade Giles worked for Acxiom Corporation, a global leader in offline/online marketing services, in the US and latterly as European Counsel responsible for legal and privacy matters for all of Acxiom’s European operations.
Recently he has been responsible for structuring and executing various strategic projects including; a $15m French asset trade sale, a Dutch MBO, selling a 1000+ seat UK contact centre to a VC and a US/Dutch tax restructuring.
Giles was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1998 and is a member of the Texas and Louisiana State bars, he is dual UK/US national.
