Pediatric sebaceous gland carcinoma
Submit Your Answer
I have a staffer with a 14 yo daughter recently diagnosed with a microcystic adenexal carcinoma of the ventral left arm ( elbow). Apparently malignant sebaceous gland ca by multiple path review. Has had Moh's surgery with clear margins ( pretty extensive) Now no one seems to have any idea what to tell this family as to follow up, recurrence risk, ? risk of other malignancies in the future. I have called MD Anderson and Fred Hutchison Cancer Centers but no one there has ever seen this or seems knowledgable about this rare tumor in kids. Anyone out there with advice?
