Sales Director-Pharma

The Sales Director will grow existing Pharmaceutical Distribution market share through highly skilled acquisition of key new business. The candidate will focus solely on acquiring new business through development & implementation of sales and marketing strategies geared to the pharmaceutical industry and their advertising agency partners.

Responsibilities

  • Develop & implement long/short term sales & marketing strategies for growing business in designated accounts.
  • Grow Pharmaceutical business through strategic sales of new, financially significant business.
  • Work consistently with a detailed sales process.
  • Manage and drive a funnel of sales targets from beginning to end.
  • Customize a solution set for each perspective customer.
  • Thoroughly understand and explain Sermo’s offerings and key benefits to current/potential customers, and agency partners.
  • Work collectively with regional team to optimize sales.
  • Present and communicate with brand teams, market research groups and other interested teams within designated accounts.

Requirements

  • 6 to 10 years extensive sales experience.
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience with an understanding of marketing trends and regulatory environment.
  • Experience selling to marketing decision makers.
  • Success selling to large and small pharmaceutical companies.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a leading institution.
