Web Analytics Manager
Responsibilities
- Perform overall data analysis for company to identify strategic trends and actionable customer insights, based on a clear understanding of business objectives. Leverage internal data platform to extract customer information and profile customer behavior.
- Work with business colleagues to understand their reporting needs, and work with IT counterparts to design custom reports to meet the requirements, and work with colleagues to make sure the reports are properly interpreted and used. Respond to ongoing internal customer requests for data and analysis.
- Work with the marketing team to conduct segmentation and implement predictive models to support marketing campaigns in acquisition, retention and customer experience management.
- Analyze results of marketing campaigns across multiple channels such as direct mail, email, telemarketing, online media and print for channel optimization.
- Serve as internal subject matter expert on the reporting tools and metrics by providing information on best practices, benchmarks, key performance indicators, etc. Identify data discrepancies and resolve data integrity issues.
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will be a bright, clear-thinking problem solver with strong analytic and communication skills.
- Strong experience in a web analyst, marketing analyst or business intelligence role, applying analytical modeling of customer information and the use of regression, factor and cluster statistical techniques for segmentation, response, attrition, retention, and profitability analysis using SAS; or experience with SQL.
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Marketing, Finance, Economics or other quantitative disciplines. Advanced quantitative degree or MBA from a top business school a plus.
- Experience with large data sets and data manipulation.
- Experience in writing queries in Structured Query Language (SQL) to extract data from Oracle or other relational databases.
- Experience using a tagging-based Web reporting tool such as Webtrends, Coremetrics, Omniture, Hitbox (WebSideStory), Google Analytics or ClickTracks to create reports and interpret data.
- Strong knowledge of advanced statistical principles such as linear regression, logistic regression, univariate and multivariate analysis, principle component analysis, cluster analysis, discriminant analysis, and experimental design.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and critical thinking skills.
- Honesty, integrity, enthusiasm and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast paced environment; never miss deadlines.
