Senior Analyst
Responsibilities
- Design and execute analytic and measurement projects including, data extraction, data manipulation, analysis and presentation of insights as assigned
- Create SAS programs and MySQL queries to conduct analyses of site member data including click-stream behavioral data
- Provide statistical programming support and validation of analysis datasets, create statistical tables, graphs, and assist in gathering analysis requirements
- Develop a deep understanding of the in-house databases
- Assume responsibility for managing projects requiring rapid turnaround of sequential analyses
- Develop, update, and maintain SAS programs used to produce automated reports of site behavior
- Prioritize personal workload to meet specified completion dates and consistently perform high quality work
- Demonstrate excellent problem solving skills
- Make recommendations to internal business partners based on insights
- Work on multiple project simultaneously
Qualifications
- Requires 4+ years experience in analysis and programming for a Senior Analyst role and 2+ years experience for an Analyst role; for example, experience as an analyst, marketing analyst, database marketing analyst, or statistician
- Demonstrated programming and analysis skills
- Strong analytic ability is required to analyze and fulfill business partner requests while effectively prioritizing time and business impact
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- SAS and mySQL experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with a quantitative focus
- The understanding of the data/tools available for web channel effectiveness, including direct application of the data/tools to measure baseline activity and incremental improvement of site enhancements desired
